Alexandre Cremers and Viola Schmitt Join the Semantics of Natural Languages Team

We are delighted to announce that Alexandre Cremers (Vilnius University, Cognistats.eu) and Viola Schmitt (MIT) have joined the editorial team of SNL.

Alexandre works at the intersection of theoretical and experimental approaches to meaning, with particular interests in vagueness, quantification, probabilistic approaches to meaning, and advanced statistical methods. Viola's research focuses on formal semantics and pragmatics, with a special emphasis on plurality, coordination, attitude reports, and typological considerations regarding compositional structure.

Their expertise will enrich SNL's editorial know-how in theoretical, empirical, and methodological respects. We look forward to their contributions in shaping the journal's future direction and maintaining its high editorial standards.
